Each robot has four high-resolution, high-dynamic range, visible-light cameras as standard installations. These cameras can be adjusted to handle the high-contrast lighting conditions typically found in outdoor environments, and deliver crisp, highly detailed images to the inspector. 


The innovative layout of the robot design allows the operator to move the cameras around any line hardware he may be interested in, to obtain different views, and generally get a great sense of that hardware's condition.

In addition to the standard cameras, we are developing a splice resistance sensor, as well as a device for sensing the loss of steel core within ACSR conductor. These devices are under development as a direct response to industry needs.
