TRIALS AND TESTING

We've trialled the robot on de-energised power lines with the help of local utilities in Durban, South Africa, and Drury, New Zealand. We've also showcased the technology at African Utility Week in Cape Town, South Africa, and at the IEEE PES Transmission and Distribution Exposition in Chicago, USA.

 

PROTOTYPE DEVELOPMENT

To date, we've built two prototype platforms, and are busy designing a third in order to manufacture inspection robots in small quantities. Over time, the second-generation prototype has become a robust, field-ready device that is capable of delivering useful inspection data.
